Truck Driver

Job Description: This individual will operate vehicles to pick up and deliver equipment, parts, and supplies for the dealership. They must be able to safely operate all equipment sold by the dealership.

Specific Duties Include:

  • • Follow all instructions for pick up, transport and delivery of equipment and supplies for the dealership or to/from customers of the dealership.
    • May instruct customer on the basic operating instructions at the time of delivery.
    • Keep records of pickup and deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts.
    • Maintain vehicle in a safe operating condition. Advise supervisor or manager of necessary repairs.
    • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership’s area of responsibility.
    • Follow all Federal & State safety rules and regulations
    • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of dealership
    • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

  • • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and current health card
    • Experience operating heavy and/or agricultural equipment
    • Knowledge of manufacturers’ loading and unloading procedures for the safe transportation of equipment
    • Strong customer service skills
Service Writer

Description:  This position is responsible for assisting the customer in regards to equipment repair.  Available to work overtime & weekends if needed.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Acts as the first point of contact by greeting and consulting with the customer on service needs
  • Assist customers with loading & unloading equipment
  • Opens work orders and assigns job repair to a service technician
  • Communicates customer repair requests to technicians & supervisor
  • Organizes and sells quotes to the customer
  • Handles repair order charges, warranty validations, submissions, and follow-ups
  • Communicates with the customer during all stages of repair service
  • Assists in handling customer complaints and concerns
  • Identifies possible comebacks before delivery and resolves the issue to achieve customer’s satisfaction
  • Treats customers fairly and demonstrates our commitment to superior customer service
  • Projects professionalism with both internal and external customers, including personal appearance
  • Works safely both indoors & outdoors at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 


Service Technician

This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. All work must be completed in a safe, professional and timely manner. Based upon level of expertise, the Service Technician may work under direct supervision. Must be able to perform quality work as efficiently as possible. Available to work overtime and weekends if needed.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor
  • Document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts and fluids used
  • Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment
  • Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold by dealership
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Perform all duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner

 


Equipment Set-Up & Detailer

This individual will be responsible for the effective set up of all new equipment and include washing, detailing, and prepping of equipment for delivery at high levels of quality. All work must be completed in a safe, professional and timely manner. Must be able to perform quality work as efficiently as possible. Available to work overtime and weekends if needed.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Support both the Service and Sales Departments
  • Set-Up of new equipment, washing and detailing of all sold or customer repaired machines 
  • Operate all new and customer-owned machines in a safe manner 
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Perform all duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
